Can’t think of sin without sacrifice

We must think that when we sin it’s like we nail God’s promises on the cross to be crucified

Remember your promise to me;
it is my only hope. Your promise revives me;
it comforts me in all my troubles. (Psalm 119:49, 50 NLT)

We must begin to realize that when sin tempts and comes against us that we are choosing damnation,we are choosing that which Jesus has already defeated.Sin has it’s place in hell and when we sin we choose the very place that sin has- HELL! Yet the power happens when we don’t focus on where sin takes us but what power we have over sin through Christ. We have to remind sin when it comes to us that “you have already lost.Christ defeated you and I will not follow defeat but I will follow victory.”

The bible teaches us For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:12 NLT) So often we consider some of the things we come against as just “life” or the inevitable…worry,stress, struggle, hard times, sickness, anger,etc are just apart of life…which is true but the issue is the way we view and accept it “just a part of life” this text says we are not fighting against our flesh and blood enemies aka things that trouble concern and anger us or we can simply put in there…were not fighting against life as we know it but powers and evil spirits! meaning we must recognize who our fight is against…if we just nonchalantly accept it as “life” then we accept the way the enemy brings evil through these situations. We we began to recognize sin as sin then we can tell sin where to go and dismiss it for it is already defeated!!!

Jesus said when I was nailed to the cross every sin you committed was nailed to the cross, when I died so did your sin, when I went hell I took the keys and left your sins there, when I rose from the grave that symbolized my death and sin you rose with me…I have conquered sin, You have conquered sin, I am in heaven, You will be with me one day
