I totally miss you all!! I’ve been a busy busy lady between my regular 8-5 PLUS OVERTIME job, planning for my book release next year, graphic design projects and all the outreaches I’m involved in – I find it hard to get my blog time in!! But boy do I miss it. As I was scheduling this conference call, I thought about you all…. I felt the strong urge to encourage you to Keep Moving Forward in whatever God has destined you to do, then Phil. 1:6 came to mind. Yall know how I like my various versions, so here’s a few:
New Living Translation (NLT)
6 And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.
Amplified Bible (AMP)
6 And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return], developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you.
Whether you’re opening your first business, starting a new ministry, writing your first book, releasing your first album, whatever your “Good Work” is know, be confident, convinced and very sure that it WILL BE COMPLETED!!!!
I had this thought I wanted to share with you all, especially those who may be saying well God hasn’t started a “good work” in me… The Good Work was began the day you entered into this Earth. It was that day that God said the plan I have for this person to fulfill begins NOW!!! From that moment Christ activated and had assurance in His plan for you. He knew it was the best plan and that He released His good work into the world. The problem is we enter this world that is full of sin and circumstances that push against God’s plan. We must make the decision and boldly say, ” I am the Good Work and God’s plan for me has began and will be completed. I may not know what it is but I know that I will complete it and I trust God to show me the way!”
So be encouraged… You are the good work… continue to strive and be confident that God will complete that work (you) until the very day when Christ returns!!!
Love you all! Talk to you soon!!
